Lovingly known as DM4C at EdComs Towers, we went live with our latest project today. A bit of a departure as it’s more of a web app than an educational resource - a search engine to assist students to find chemistry resources from maths search terms and vice-versa.

It’s just about the right format to hold my (very limited) attention. 140 characters - perfect. That’s not to say I’m a prolific tweeter, but I do like to post the odd tweet and lurk around some of the great and the good.
It’s also prompted me to try and post some of the more interesting destinations I find online. I’ll aim to post them here too at the end of every week as a reminder.
The last (and first) 2 I’ve posted are http://tinyurl.com/5ed5hc and http://tinyurl.com/6glx6z
Enjoy!

AND we won our match this morning - 3-2 against Worthing Rebels, with Ben scoring too!

DP was a man on a mission, and kept the pace up (no doubt aiming for a PB this Sunday). It made me realise that I haven’t been pushing my runs too hard recently - more sitting in a comfort zone where pace is concerened - this is great as I’m training for distance really rather than solely speed, but I do need to pick up the pace a bit… The London 10K looms this Sunday and it would be good to get a time around 50 minutes…
Emphasis was more on keeping going between attractions rather than basking in the sun and watching the worlds best drivers climb a hill in West Sussex. We did try the latter, but it wasn’t too much fun.

Bit of a longer run today - up and out at 8am, and kind of started off without knowing where I really wanted to go (not a good idea) so just ran for a bit, and everytime I thought I knew where I was going to go I seemed to change my mind when the turning point came to follow the route I intended.

Anyway, I ended up doing a longer run than usual, which was quite encouraging as I didn’t feel too bad afterwards. Also managed to bag a piccy of a fantastic view on the Bepton stretch of the run.
